Encouraging words from Colossians.
I always thank God the Father when I pray for you.
Live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way. Be strengthened by His glorious might that you may have great endurance and patience, giving thanks to the Father who qualified you.
Christ is before all things, He holds all things together.
Continue in your faith, established and firm not moved from the hope held out in the Gospel. Christ in you - the hope of glory!
My purpose is that you may be encouraged in heart and united in love so that you may have the full riches of complete understanding in order that you may know the mystery of God, namely Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy.
So then just as you received Jesus Christ as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude.
When I was dead in my sins, God made me alive with Christ! He forgave all my sins, triumphing over them by the cross!
Reality is found in Christ.
Since you have been raised with Christ, set you hearts on things above, not on earthly things. For you died and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Over all these virtues, put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts and be thankful!
Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you sing songs with gratitude in your hearts toward God.
Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father.
It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Pray too that God may open a door for the message of Christ. Pray that I would proclaim it clearly as I should.
Be wise in the way that you act, make the most of every opportunity.
Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt so that you may know how to answer everyone.
Stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.
Grace be with you!
